How do you make money?

Right now we don't, and we're not pretending otherwise. No commission, no listing fee, no subscription. If SiteSold ever earns anything it'll be optional tools for sellers — never a cut of your sale.

Why trust a brand-new marketplace?

You don't have to, and that's deliberate. We never hold your money, we take no commission, and the deal record can't be edited by either side. The worst case is you lose the few minutes it took to publish a listing.

What stops fake listings?

Automatic checks on every listing — the domain must resolve, not be parked, and have real content, and the asking price has to be plausible against the revenue. On top of that, a seller can prove they control the domain, which is what the Verified badge means.

Question 4

Isn't this just Flippa?

Accepted Answer

Flippa is far bigger and handles much larger deals. The difference is the small end: brokers take 10–15% and put you through a process that isn't worth it for a $500 site. We take nothing, which is the only reason listing a small site makes sense.

How long does listing take?

About two minutes. Seven fields are required — name, domain, category, a short description, monthly revenue, costs and visits. Screenshots, tech stack and an asking price are optional.
